Mission 04

Technocracy

Tear down harmful policies and institutions

Shaping current institutions

Political leaders never lead—they always follow. Many if not most of them work for their own (or big-corp) self-interest, creating roadblocks towards a more sustainable world. The mission for Sharphill is to guide them in the right direction by force, eventually removing as much of their powers as possible and fight for degrowth

1. Monitor

Absolutely everything that happens in politics on both a global and local, yes even a personal level, must be monitored every second of the day. Automated process that find malicious policies or greedy officials and brings it to our attention and weeds out inappropriate players.

2. Showcase

Every bad decision or idea that is presented should be showcased to the world. Politicians must not be able to hide. How they vote on important issues, where their funding comes from or where they buy their socks. All brought to daylight via a network of efficient distribution channels or mainstream media.

3. Influence

Individual policy makers must be informed, educated and pushed towards an advantageous legislation. When they make their decisions, they should be independent and well informed. Not purchased by big corporations.

4. Simplify and dismantle

It is governments that wage war, not citizens. There is no need for a fully centralized power with complete control over society. No need for complicated welfare or thousands of thinktanks. Sick pay or social security contributions could easily be replaced with a universal basic income that doesn’t require administrative approval or follow-ups.

When more of society is run by co-ops that pay taxes instead of billionaires hiding their wealth abroad, the tax rates can be lowered. Holistic care, less stress and breathable air would reduce the need for expensive healthcare or medical insurance.

The current governments are trained on enslaving their populations in order to bring economic growth up and beyond. This will not be the norm in tomorrow’s shared future.
