Well, now there's a visual simulator available on the website that compares the current economical system to how Sharphill would work. It's quite simplified, but does show in an interactive way how to change the entire world. And thats not a small feat!

More spending power despite working half-time

Here's the thing most people don't realize: rent and daily essentials eats everything. In the current system, housing takes up to 52 percent of your income depending on where you fall on the ladder. For the middle class that's roughly $800 a month just to keep a roof over your head. For the bottom 30 percent it's closer to $600, which on a $1,160 monthly income is devastating.

In a Sharphill town, that number is zero. Not reduced. Not subsidized. Zero!

The co-ops or companies that operate in the town contribute to housing as a cost of doing business. You as an individual don't pay rent. That's not a perk or a bonus or some trick — it's the foundation everything else is built upon.

When you take housing out of the equation, suddenly working 20 hours a week starts to look very different. The simulator shows that a Sharphill resident on half the income of a current middle-class worker ends up with more left over at the end of the month.

Citizens' equity creates faster spending power

This is where it gets interesting. When people aren't bleeding money into rent, they spend locally. They eat at the restaurant down the street. They buy from the market. They hire the plumber two blocks over instead of the cheapest option an hour away.

That local spending feeds local businesses. Those businesses grow and hire. Wages go up. More spending. You see where this is going.

The simulator models this as a flywheel effect — a positive feedback loop that the current system simply doesn't have. Under today's economy, your rent goes to a landlord who might live anywhere. That money leaves your community. In Sharphill, the money circulates inside the town, building value for everyone who lives there.

Eventually overthrowing the compounding effect of the richest

Right now the top 5 percent of earners grow their income at about 7 to 9 percent a year. Why? Because wealth compounds. You have money, you invest it, the investments make more money, you invest that. Meanwhile the middle class gets about 2 percent wage growth and the bottom 30 percent gets 1 percent — barely keeping up with inflation.

The rich don't just stay rich. They pull away at an accelerating rate because compound interest is the most powerful force in economics, and right now only one group gets to ride it.

Sharphill's model changes who gets to compound. When companies contribute to housing and residents build equity in co-ops, the wealth isn't disappearing into some landlord's portfolio. It gets invested in the community. And over a 30-year timeline, the simulator shows the gap between top and bottom finally stabilizing — then actually shrinking the income of the most wealthy.

That's not taxing the rich. It's just a different architecture for where money flows that actually works - for all of us!

Many European leaders and corporations are worried that Europe will fall behind both the west and the east in the current AI advancements. The latest news about the American AI-developer Anthropic closing their access for non-US entities is worrying, since larger blockades or restrictions in the future could severely impact our economic growth.

However, I believe that Europe instead have a better option than to chase unicorns in the AI era. If you can't win the race, it is better to find another arena. And Sharphill will do just that. By reshaping how society creates value, it will make room for a new kind of growth that might look worse on paper but is a heck of a lot more useful for its actual citizens. The impact and effect on society will be tremendously better than a few trillionaires stockpiling fictional wealth.

The wins we actually need

Equity and basic needs met for absolutely everyone. Not a single person should ever need to go homeless or hungry in a modern society.

Better, proactive healthcare that uses more of the resources for actual healing instead of administration.

Slow down production and growth that hurts the environment.

Less stress and shorter work weeks, which will reduce burnouts and give more time for meaningful nonprofit work, sports or leisure.

End the loneliness epidemic where elderly living by themselves can go weeks without talking to someone, and young people not finding a partner.

Give people meaning and purpose. With something for live for, distractions like stimulants or crime would not have the same attraction and hold on society as it has today.

And I will make it happen. Are you in?

Sharphill is conceived in Sweden. I have thought a lot about this, if its a good or a bad thing. Of course I wish that I could start by helping the very most vulnerable instead. The slums of India, homeless people in USA or war-torn children in a foreign country. But now I'm here, in Sweden.

Sweden has been named the second most democratic country in the world. But as any modern country there are issues here as well. We have homeless. We have injustice. We have food insecurity. Just not as wide-spread as elsewhere. But with a lower threshold to climb, it might be the best place to start and build something new. The chances of success here are larger, and when the framework is established we can showcase and export the system across the globe.

Me personally, am just an ordinary person with big dreams. I do however have a special set of skills and will devote my life to this project, so I hope that you don't think less of mer for digging where I stand. Your support is crucial, and every single cent that I make by donations or business ventures will be funneled back into creating a better world, for us all.

All of these brave ideas would probably not be possible without the new advancements in AI. For example, this entire website has been built by AI according to my instructions.

But maintaining such a wide aspect of missions as SH aims to tackle would be very time-consuming and boring for a one person team. By using smart agents things like creating monthly newsletters or doing simple research can be done on autopilot. The agents are even getting smarter, in fact so smart that you don't need to instruct them on how or even what to do. They can figure out themselves what needs to be done, and then do it.

Also a diverse group of humans can have a hard time to see the complete picture, while an AI has full access to all memories and facts within seconds. It can find connections and opportunities that even the best of marketers or innovators would struggle with.

Right now I am mostly exploring what the possibilities are, but very soon Sharphill will have its own dedicated machine running AI-agents 24/7. So don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter for more updates.

You might think that I'm insane wanting to change not only my local community, but the entire world. To upend capitalism and oligarch powers and put it back in the hands of the people.

And you're perfectly right. Insane is what I am. Mad enough to actually see it through. I might fail, but thats fine with me as long as I know that I at least tried. But one person can only do so much, so I need you too on my team.

As for now, I am still setting up the platform needed to connect all the ideas, tools and people with one another. This work has accelerated in an astounding pace thanks to artificial intelligence. As a coder, building just a simple but decent website could take a week or two. Now I can do it on my own in a day or two.

This week for instance, I will setup a local AI agent. The hope is to build a digital assistant that knows everything, works 24/7 and never gets tired. It will manage the entire community, posting on social media and helping me build community more or less on autopilot. So for those of you who thinks AI will destroy us, I truly believe the opposite. It's smarter, faster and less biased than any of us (as long as the correct guardrails are in place).
